Ordering/Billing Questions

How can I place an order with you?

Ordering with us is quite simple; we've made it clear and fast.

To order online, simply click the "buy" icon next to the title and price. When ordering movies, be sure and choose the correct format (DVD or Digital Download). When finished, you can go directly to our clearly marked shopping cart, which will guide you through your transaction. After you have finished your order, a confirmation notice will be sent to you via email (feel free to bookmark it or print it out as confirmation of your order).

What forms of payment do you accept?

When paying by credit card, we accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. Please note that for debit card transactions, the funds will be deducted from your bank account instantly upon purchase. If for any reason a refund is required on a debit card transaction, it can take up to 30 days for the bank to refund your money. This is solely due to your individual bank's policies. If you are waiting for a refund/credit on a debit card transaction, please speak with your bank directly as we have no control once we have processed your refund or credit.

We also accept payment by check or money order (by mail only). See below for more information on checks and money orders.

Can I place an order without a credit card? Do you accept money orders?

Yes. Checks and money orders must be mailed in; we cannot accept them over the phone or online. Mail them to:

All checks for $100.00 or more will be held for two (2) weeks before your shipment goes out. Unverifiable checks will be held 3 weeks. Orders with returned checks will be charged $25.


How can I confirm that my order has been received?

After placing your order online, you will receive an automated e-mail from us ("Thank You for your order" appears in the subject heading) within a short period of time. The email will be a carbon copy of your order minus your credit card information (this is for your security).


How / when am I charged?

You are only charged for in-stock items when they are sent to you. If an item is temporarily out of stock ("backordered"), you will not be charged until the item has arrived in our warehouse, and is being packaged for delivery to you. You do NOT need to re-order a backordered, out-of-stock, or "pre-booked" title. They will be automatically shipped to you when the item arrives in our warehouse. Pre-booked, backordered, and out-of-stock items (and their shipping fees) are not charged to you until after your item has been shipped from our warehouse.


What if my item(s) is backordered/out of stock?

Unfortunately, we sometimes run out of items. It is our policy to ship whatever we have in stock at the time of order, and to re-ship backordered items when they arrive in our warehouse. You will receive notification that an item is on backorder via our automatic system when available items ship.

It is our policy that backordered items will ship UPS ground (regardless of the method you chose when ordering) when they become available, as we do not charge additional delivery fees due to out-of-stock delays.

What appears on my billing statement?

All credit card charges will appear on your statement as "SpunkVideo.com".

How is my purchase packaged?

All our items are shipped in discreet boxes with no indication of the contents visible on the outside of the package.

Do I have to pay sales tax on purchases made from you?

If you live in either the states of California or Idaho - yes.

California residents: 8.5%
Idaho residents: 6%.

Overseas / International:

International orders require personal assistance, but do not despair! Place your order accordingly, and our system will hold the order for confirmation by our customer service department. We typically charge an additional shipping and handling fee which varies according to your location and items shipped. We will contact you via email with your options and pricing. International customers may cancel their orders prior to shipment by contacting Service@Spunkvideo.com

In addition, many customers have had their packages seized by their country's customs officials. Particularly explicit box art may cause customs to seize your delivery in the following countries: Afghanistan, Argentina, Canada, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Vietnam. We will not ship to addresses located in Morocco, Singapore, or the Philippines. We will not be held responsible if your purchase is seized, so please make your purchases carefully!

Do you sell your mailing lists to other parties?

We value your privacy! We do not share our mailing lists, whether email or postal, with other companies or individuals. Problems With My Order

My item was defective - what do I do?

Spunkvideo guarantees the play-readiness of every video we sell! If your item proves to be defective within thirty (30) days of you receiving it, you will need to contact us to receive a return authorization (R.A.); we will gladly replace it with another copy of the same item. (We will not replace it with a different title, and any item returned to us without an R.A. is subject to a $10.00 restocking fee.) You will need to include your name and address exactly as they appear on your invoice, along with your order number. Our customer service representatives will give you exact instructions. I was sent the wrong item or format - what do I do?

If you receive an incorrect item or format, DO NOT OPEN IT - we will not accept items accidentally shipped to you if you have opened them. You will need to contact us within 30 days to receive a return authorization (R.A.); we will gladly replace it with the correct merchandise. What formats do you offer?

Most DVDs have no regional coding whatsoever, meaning they can be played worldwide. We make mention at the bottom of each review about a DVDs coding only when it is regionally encoded - be sure and check.
